Attendees:
19 Members were in attendance from the MEPCIS membership
list.
The Attending members would
like to thank John Sokalsky of LVH for setting up the location and meal.
The meeting was called to order by the president, Steve
Kerns.
A brief business meeting followed the introductions. The
last meetings minutes were viewed and accepted as printed.
The next order of
business was to see whom MEPCIS would elect for Vice President an Treasurer.
Once all the ballots were received and tallied the official count was read. The
new Vice President by 18 votes was Ray Shunk. Our new Treasurer by way of write
in and 6 votes was Joe Ostrowski. Congratulations Ray & Joe.
As some of you may or may not know MEPCIS was looking for
a new Program committee person. We
didn’t have to look far; our new Program committee is Lou Terreforte. Thank you
Lou for accepting this position. In
closing MEPCIS would like to thank John Sokalsky, John McGee and Chip Yanusko
for their service and commitment to MEPCIS over the past years.
Correspondence: The Journal of Clinical
Engineering was updated with current MEPCIS contact info.
Treasury Report: No report at this time.
Committee Reports: The program committee
reports the current schedule is up to date.
Any input is welcomed and needed to help schedule upcoming
meetings and events.

our program committee.
Unfinished Business: Reminder to all new and
existing members – Please complete and return
membership applications with payment ASAP. Any persons in
need of applications can contact

to obtain an online application form.
Penn Biomedical Support has arranged a CBET exam to be
held for its technicians. The exam will be administered by ICC on May 3rd.
Location to be announced.
New Business: MEPCIS is in the planning
stage of the first Annual Golf Tournament, Picnic and Fund Raiser. It is
anticipated for May or June of this year.
